Lords Park Elgin, Illinois

Lords Park has a variety of Historic Pavilion, Museum, Water Park Area which makes it a perfect place for your family photos along with a tiny romantic bridge right in front of the Pavilion. After creating your memories what's even better to go and visit the beautiful Lords Park Zoo fenced areas which is home to bison, elk and white tail deer. These animals can be seen all year long. The free Lords Park Farm Zoo usually opens beginning of June throughout summer.

Animals may also include pigs, calves, sheep, donkeys, ponies and turkeys.

Nature preserves on the Fox River with hiking trails, a boat launch, picnic areas & historic sites along with waterfall.

The waterfall is unnamed, but it has attracted some attention as a spot to visit. Surrounded by trees on both sides, water gently spills over the edge of a short waterfall, creating a peaceful and gorgeous picture. The waterfall is located not far off of Route 31. Perfect area for Lifestyle portraits!

Fabyan Forest Preserve


Located along the Fox River, with entrances on both Route 25 and Route 31, just north of Fabyan Parkway. The Fabyan Villa Museum provides general history tours. It's a great spot loved by many photographers for the variety of different paths leading from European Stye Iron Gate to the romantic gardens all the way up to the traditional Japanese Garden.
